Mary asks…

is it cheaper to get does street motorcycles?

I kinda want to start in having a motorcycle. I’m planning to buy one but i’m not sure yet. Does it save more gasoline? Do you have to pay higher for the insurence? Are they cheaper than cars?
HELP!!!!

Administrator answers:

Most bikes can get about 60mpg or more depending on their displacement. The insurance will depend on your age and driving history, but it’s usually about $100 a month or less(at least it is for me). Bikes are a lot cheaper than cars in many ways. You can buy something that’s only a couple years old with very low miles for only about 5 grand, and most parts are very inexpensive compared to cars. Considering the lesser amount of parts, there’s less things to break and they actually turn out to be pretty reliable.

Whatever you do, just make sure you have a car around for winter. You don’t want to go through the snow on 2 wheels, trust me.
